The 2025 Polaris RZR Pro lineup isn’t just about power; it’s a leap forward in comfort. Polaris already had class leading performance with the RZR Pro models, and with a great chassis under it and a powerful engine in place, Polaris shifted gears to elevate the rider experience. Expect a refined ride, premium features, and – true to Polaris form – groundbreaking innovations.

THE PRO R FAMILY
With a dizzying array of off-road models, deciphering the Polaris lineup can be a maze. Thankfully, that just got a little easier. For 2025 there will be three models with the top-of-the-line Pro R platform. Here’s how they stack up:
- RZR PRO R: This is the desert taming, no compromises, dune shredding beast. If going fast across wide open terrain is your thing, this is your ticket to ride!
- RZR PRO S: Not an entirely new model, the PRO S was formerly badged the Turbo R. It retains the Pro R’s aggressive chassis width while offering a shorter wheelbase and distinct engine and transmission setup.
- RZR PRO XP: The XP is the trail specialist of the RZR Pro lineup. It’s 64″ width and 96″ wheelbase deliver nimble handling, and it shares the engine and transmission with the PRO S, but is tuned for lower speed performance and steady power delivery in tight woods or rock crawling.

ENGINE and TRANSMISSION OPTIONS – CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON
The 2025 Polaris RZR Pro models feature a couple different engine and transmission options. The Pro S and XP models share a 181 HP turbocharged engine mated to the Pro S CVT transmission. However, to enhance low speed performance in rocky or technical terrain, the Pro XP transmission also gets a new Low gear to smooth power delivery. Both models are designed to be incredibly stable thanks to a 74” width, but with a 96” wheelbase, they also have a tighter turning radius. The difference really comes down to tuning: The XP wins in tight quarters; the Pro S is designed to run!
The 2025 RZR PRO R engine is an adrenaline machine. A 225 hp, ProStar Fury 2.0 naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine paired with the Polaris CVT transmission delivers life altering performance. It’s an all-out thrill machine in any direction you point it, with the chassis and suspension to match.
All of the 2025 Polaris RZR Pro models offer the Polaris CVT system, with Park, Neutral, Low and High gears. Both the Pro S and XP models get what Polaris calls the Isolated True On-Demand AWD/2WD system, while the Pro R is equipped with the Pro Performance True 2WD/4WD/4WD Lock transmission.

COMFORT CAB
Desert riders were feeling the heat from radiator ducting on previous RZR Pro models and that won’t be a problem any longer. Polaris has answered the call with a revamped cabin environment for the 2025 RZR Pro lineup. A new radiator ducting system channels hot air away from occupants, while a patent-pending cabin air intake system floods the interior with fresh, cool air. Polaris took temperature control one step further with another industry first, vented and heated seats!
Interior spaces have been refined with a new dash, additional storage compartments, and revised control layout for easier access at speed. And let’s face it, at the speed the RZR Pro models are capable of, the last thing you need is to be fumbling for controls! Safety is paramount, and all models get new solid doors with a double latch and door seal to keep out water, mud, or anything else trying to poke its way into the cab.
Comfort reigns supreme in the 2025 Polaris RZR Pro lineup. All models boast new seats with less flex and enhanced foam support crafted for all day comfort. The RZR Pro R received a new dual retractor seatbelt harness that mounts above and behind the seat for easier retracting.

SUSPENSION BUILT FOR SPEED
The most important part of any hi-performance vehicle is the suspension, and all of the RZR Pro models excel in this area.
The RZR Pro R features a whopping 29″ of usable travel from the MaxLink rear suspension. Additionally, the DYNAMIX DV semi-active suspension monitors shock action and automatically adjusts shock tuning to the terrain and speed. At any speed it’s ultra stable thanks to a 74” wide stance and 104.52” wheelbase. The Pro R is packed with features all designed to turbocharge your adrenaline rush. If this doesn’t do it, nothing legal can!
The RZR Pro S is the do-it-all athlete of the RZR Pro family, with an ultra-stable 74” width and 96” wheelbase that allows quick, precise maneuvering. A 181 HP Turbocharged engine rockets the Pro S along, and Walker Evans shocks deliver 28” of wheel travel, with 32” tires mounted on 5-lug wheels.
For 2025, the Sport trim is available in Storm Grey, the Premium trim in Zenith Blue with Orange Burst, and the Ultimate trim in Onyx Black, Moss Green, and Zenith Blue with Orange Burst.
Designed for those who find their adventures on both tight trails and wide-open terrain, the RZR Pro XP is the nimble member of the family. A lower gear helps control power delivery, but the 64” wide, 96” wheelbase lets you twist through trail obstacles with ease. Walker Evans shocks control the ride and offer 22” of wheel travel, while 30” tires grab traction. If your trails are a little bit of everything, this is the RZR Pro for you! The RZR Pro XP is at home on the dunes, but won’t shy away from climbing through rocks.
The RZR Pro XP Sport trim is available in Storm Grey, while the Premium trim will come in Zenith Blue, and the Ultimate is offered in Onyx Black, Moss Green, and Zenith Blue.

THE RZRs WITH BITE – RETURN OF THE FANG
The 2025 Polaris RZR Pro lineup boasts a menacing look that mirrors its raw power. All RZR Pro models get a return of a welcome feature, the fabled Polaris fang. The Fang is really just a bit of styling trim, but if it makes the RZR Pro models appear like a saber-toothed beast, ready to tear into trail and foe, then why not highlight it! And nothing does that better than accent lights which sharpen the RZR’s predatory glare, adding a touch of menace and style. Does the Fang increase performance, in any way? Absolutely not, but hey, it looks cool, and sometimes that’s good enough! It’s a signature element that screams, “Don’t mess with me.”
2 or 4 SEATS, and OPTIONS GALORE
As with EVERY Polaris, there are several option packages available, along with an extensive group of accessories. The 2025 RZR Pro R, Pro S, and Pro XP will be available in both 2-seat and 4-seat configurations, with the Pro S and Pro XP coming in three trim options, Sport, Premium, and Ultimate, while the Pro R will be available in Sport and Ultimate trims.
