vendor.2013.hi-lifter.trail-day.4x4jeeps.riding.through-woods.jpgHi-Lift Jack Company hosted its 3rd Hi-Lift® TRAIL DAY on Saturday, August 24th at Redbird SRA near Dugger, Indiana.  Over 220 vehicles and 450 people were in attendance…about 60 more vehicles and 100 more people than attended the inaugural appreciation event in 2010.  At least 23 different off-roading clubs were represented, with people in attendance from as far away as North Dakota and Virginia.

The event was also a fundraising activity for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research and aid, and resulted in $700 generously raised from those in attendance.

Registration began at 9:00 am, and the event officially kicked off at 10:30 with announcements and over 100 prize giveaways totaling over $7,000.  Products given away were a combination of special Hi-Lift® product packages and a wide variety of products and gift certificates donated by a host of off-road/4×4 manufacturers and distributors.  Product sponsors included:

Nitto Tire, Volant, TeraFlex, Quadratec, Superwinch, Extang, Warn, Wheel Pros, Tuffy Security Products, Skyjacker, Rough Country, Rock Hard 4×4 Parts, Rocky Mountain ATV, Rigid Industries, Plasma Glow, Mickey Thompson, M.O.R.E., Meyer Distributing, Daystar, Bushwacker, Bubba Rope, Bestop, and Moab Off-Road.

Following the prize giveaways, a bbq lunch was provided free of charge to all in attendance before releasing everyone to enjoy the wide range of trails offered at Redbird SRA.

The entire event was paid for by Hi-Lift Jack Company as a way of saying thank you to the off-roading community.  “We were glad to have the opportunity to put this event on as a way of saying THANKS to many of our loyal customers and the off-roading community as a whole”, says Steve Dowden – Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hi-Lift.  “It was also nice to be able to spread the good word about Redbird SRA, as many of the attendees were first time visitors to the park.  Good fun, good food, great prizes, and an opportunity to raise money for a needed cause.  We’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”
